Heanertsburg is famous for its forests, waterfalls and rivers full of trout and the magnificent mountain hamlet. The Iron Crown rises into the sky above the village – this peak is the highest point in Limpopo and is also the name of the local pub. You can eat pancakes, stroll around beautiful public gardens and a sundowner cruise on the Ebenezer Dam can be arranged. Heanertsburg is very close to Magoebaskloof where you can go on adventures experiences by sliding trough the tropical forests. In September you can come and enjoy the Beerfest and the spring festival with the locals.

It receives the lowest rainfall (0mm) in June and the highest (77mm) in January. The monthly distribution of average daily maximum temperatures shows that average midday temperatures for Polokwane range from 19.20C in June to 26.60C in January. The region is the coldest during July when the mercury drops to 3.1oC on average during the night.
